Tony is a former BMX Elite Pro and placed 2nd at the 2016 World Championships in Medellin, Colombia, in the Masters Pro class. Over the weekend, members from all five Garrett County’s law enforcement agencies held the inaugural Garrett County Fish with a Cop event at the Accident Pond.  Children were paired with police officers for the day’s event strengthening relationships between police and the community.

The Garrett County Health Department (GCHD) hosts the second of two Trauma-Informed Care Town Hall meetings today from 6:00 – 7:30 PM at Northern Middle School. This meeting is open to the public.

Specific to the Educational Specification project for Broad Ford Elementary, Southern Middle, and Southern High School — Grimm and Parker will be leading activities that will solicit feedback from parents and school community members throughout the evening.

Team up with the Friends of New Germany State Park and native plant enthusiasts to help remove unwanted plants from our native plant garden. As you work, you will learn how to identify common weeds and why protecting native plants is critical for wildlife.
