The Kitzmiller Coal Mining Museum will open to the public each day from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, highlighting the rich heritage of this historic Upper Potomac coal town. You can easily plan a full day in the area by pairing the museum visit with a walk along the Potomac Riverwalk, a tour of the local Arboretum, or a hike on the trails at Wolf Den Run State Park.

  • Celebrate Memorial Weekend at the HISTORIC SCHOOLHOUSE in New Germany State Park
