It's that time of year again! The Garrett County Agriculture Fair will be held from August 1, 2026 to August 8, 2026, at the Garrett County Fairgrounds in McHenry, MD! Enjoy 4-H showmanship, concessions, exhibits, rides, concerts, and so much more! This is where we shine.

Oakland Ruth Enlow Library 6 N 2nd St, Oakland, MD, United StatesVisit a branch of the Ruth Enlow Library in Garrett County. Pick up a Passport Card. Visit each library find the Patriot unique to that town. Get a sticker for your passport. Make the Garrett County Historical Society Museum your last stop. Read about an Oakland Patriot. Garrett County Agriculture Fair
Saturday, August 1, 2026 – 69th Annual Garrett County Agriculture Fair 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Entering ALL Indoor Exhibits (Rabbits and Poultry must be entered) 11 a.m.: Stock, Hot Stock and Antique Tractor Pull (Light Weights) - Race Track Noon: ALL Commercial Exhibits must be in place 5 - 11 p.m.: Reithoffer Shows Open - $15.00 Unlimited Rides (paid at Carnival Ticket Office) Schedule is tentative and subject to change. No pets allowed on the grounds except as a contestant in the pet show or as a service animal.
