Celebrating America: Young George Washington’s Travels
Ruth Enlow Library - Kitzmiller 288 W Main St, Kitzmiller, MDJoin us for a telling of young George Washington, the surveyor, spy, and farmer who traveled this region before becoming the first president of the United States. Junior Rangers at Deep Creek Lake State Park
Deep Creek Lake State ParkGet your young explorers ready for the Junior Rangers program at Deep Creek Lake State Park! This six-session program for children ages 7–12 runs on Thursdays from June 25th to July 30th, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM, and features hands-on learning and new nature topics each week. Located right in the HART lobby, Enzo's Library is the perfect place to bring your kiddos, pick out some awesome books, and read to our adorable, adoptable dogs and cats. And guess what? You can even take the books home with you! Reading Buddies takes place on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:00 - 5:00 PM. *Please note, all readers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the program.
