Tickets are $50 per ticket / Two chances to win per ticket. The drawing will be based on the Maryland 3-digit lotto and will be raffled off once all tickets are sold. Garrett Regional Medical Center and the Garrett County Health Department are partnering to offer the Arthritis Foundation's Walk With Ease program—a fun, supportive walking program designed to help improve your health, reduce pain, and increase physical activity. July 6 – August 14 Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Broadford Park Whether you're looking to become more active, manage arthritis symptoms, or simply enjoy walking with others, this program provides encouragement, accountability, and support every step of the way. Star Gazing Under a Dark Sky
Sang Run State Park 3735 Sang Run Road, McHenry, MD, United StatesStargazers can join the park service for Stargazing Under A Dark Sky on July 31, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM outside the Friends' store at 3735 Sang Run Road in McHenry, MD. Attendees will watch the stars, look for constellations, and learn about the park's goal of achieving Dark Skies certification through telescopes, talks, and star maps. Participants should wear sturdy shoes for walking the trails, bring water, and pack a headlamp with a red-light setting to protect everyone's night vision. Rain will cancel the program, and any questions can be directed to lacey.moyers@maryland.gov.
