In Garrett County, the Casselman River (delayed harvest) received rainbow trout; the Little Youghiogheny River and Muddy Creek were each stocked with both golden and rainbow trout; and the Youghiogheny River (delayed harvest) was also stocked with rainbow trout.

Airbnb announced it has collected and remitted over $96 million in tourism taxes for Maryland hosts—about $27 million in 2024 alone. This supports essential services across the state. Airbnb also backed SB 979, recently passed by the Maryland legislature, which will require all platforms to collect and remit local tourism taxes statewide, ensuring every area—big or small—receives its fair share.
