Tuesday August 8, 2023: Did you receive any severe weather yesterday? I was driving right into the path when I received the Tornado Warning so I turned around and, luckily, missed most of the storm.

The weather today will be mostly cloudy with isolated showers in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Breezy, with highs in the lower 70s. West winds of around 15 to 25 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph. The chance of rain is 20%.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources has implemented effective regulatory packages following scoping and proposal processes. Visit the “Changes to Fishing Regulations” page for details on the department’s regulatory procedure and to explore ongoing considerations.

Monday August 7, 2023: I’m moving a little slow today after participating in Day 1 of the Maryland Trek in honor of Tyler. I rode my bike all day while the trekkers that will be in Ocean City by Sunday walked / ran at an impressively fast pace.

July 21, 2023: We had a great turnout for the Women’s+ Beginner’s Bike Ride! It’s so great to see the progression of skills and confidence of the ladies in the group!

Tuesday July 18, 2023: This morning I am off to hear from our County Commissioners on the “State of the County” breakfast at Ace’s Run Restaurant and Pub.
