Jay Ferguson – Real Estate Market Update April 18

As we head into Easter weekend and (hopefully) sustainably warmer temperatures, I am pleased to report the Deep Creek Lake housing market has been relatively consistent given the recent news & world events. Rates are still up and down, but buyers are determined to get deals done. My brand new listing in Mt Lake Park, 501 Spruce St, for $225k, had two full price offers within a day and is now – UNDER CONTRACT! A McHenry area condo that I have for sale is also under contract for full price, as well, and scheduled for a lightning-quick closing next week. There are several new lakefront / lake access townhome options that just hit the market in the low $700’s and both look fantastic. Hopefully by this time next week, I’ll be able to announce the launch of a new mixed-use commercial complex in the heart of McHenry. There will be some exciting new restaurant options and luxury penthouse condos with lake & slope views this time next year…very exciting!
If you or someone you know is looking at buying or selling real estate here at Deep Creek Lake, please let me know – I would love an opportunity to help! Jay Ferguson, 301-501-0420, deepcreeklaker@gmail.com
