The Maryland spring 2026 put-and-take trout stocking season is officially complete! From February through May 18, a total of 254,810 trout were stocked across 118 local waterbodies, including 53 streams and 65 lakes. With tens of thousands of fish added to both open and closure-period waters, it is the perfect time for local anglers to head out and cast a line.
