Monday, March 11, 2024: The weather today will be sunny. Isolated snow showers in the morning and patchy blowing snow. Windy, with highs in the lower 40s and a low of 35. West winds of around 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 55 mph. The chance of snow is 20%.

Garrett County Public Schools will open two (2) hours late today, Monday, March 11, 2024.

The last race of the Highlands Fat Bike Series was held yesterday at White Grass! I experienced all four seasons on my last lap. Congrats to all the racers!!

The 2024 Deep Creek Lake Lions Club blind skier program was a success. In its 51st year, it instructed 20 visually impaired skiers and their families over four weeks in 2024.
