The weather today will be showers, with isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the morning. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall in the morning, with highs in the upper 40s and a low of 33. Southeast winds of around 10 to 15 mph, becoming west 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. The chance of rain is near 100%.

⚠️ With the amount of rain we have been receiving, we are now experiencing high water on some county and state roads. Crews are out checking roads and the prone areas that are known for flooding.

Current road hazards/closures:

• high water on Legeer Rd. around the 700 block in the Swanton area
• high water on Bethlehem Rd. around the 3700 block in the Oakland area
• 495 near Maple Grove Road North Bound closed
• Maple Grove Road around the 100 block closed
• Big Run Road at the intersection with Savage River Road closed
• Savage River Road from the Big Run Rd. intersection to Westernport Road closed
