This bridge WAS a two-span, steel Pennsylvania (Petit) truss bridge, with sub-struts, constructed in connection with the development of Deep Creek Lake by the Youghiogheny Hydroelectric Corporation in Garrett County, Maryland. Fabricated in 1924 by the McClintic-Marshall Construction Company under contract to the hydropower company and in cooperation with local government officials, the bridge carries Glendale Road over Deep Creek Lake in Garrett County, Maryland. This location was determined eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places by the Maryland Historical Trust on November 8, 1991.
