What an amazing 4th of July weekend! Celebrating America on Independence Day is always my favorite holiday of the year. Showing homes on a holiday weekend is always challenging, working around the crowds & traffic, rental availability, and navigating tight schedules. I had several clients looking over the weekend, and I was able to get a few houses on the market just in time for the influx of visitors. Here’s what else caught my eye:
Notable activity over the last week or so:
$2,050,000 lakefront home at Harveys Peninsula sold
Coming soon – $1.1 million lakefront home at Turkey Neck
3 Lodestone area homes (same builder) all withdrawn from the market – odd?
Price drop on 413 D St (remodeled) in Mt Lake Park to $259,900
Lakefront home on Marsh Hill sold for $897k – that’s the lowest price I have seen in a while
A lakefront home on White Oak Drive closed for $975k – it could have sold for $100k higher, really nice property
Lastly, price reductions GALORE, several Blakeslee homes under $1 million, and a few instant contracts onwell-pricedd homes

295 active residential listings on the market (up from 282)
59 under contract/pending (up from 54 last report)
25 total home sales closed in June, so far, 8 closed sales in July.
