The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will conduct Submerged Aquatic Vegetation (SAV) surveys in Deep Creek Lake next week.
Operations will begin on Monday, August 17 and conclude in the afternoon on Wednesday, August 19.
For everyone’s safety and awareness, please review the attached map of dive locations and familiarize yourself with the image of the dive flag, which indicates a diver is below the surface. While safety boats and kayaks will accompany the team throughout the survey, your extra vigilance on the water is greatly appreciated!
