Peter Leavesley shares the story of Pete’s Photobooth Rentals: Pete’s Photobooth Rentals started with my daughter’s wedding in June 2017. My daughter Tina and her fiancé Drew met in 2010 while hiking the Appalachian Trail, so they wanted a mountain top/view wedding in Virginia. She wanted to have a photo booth at her wedding, but due to the remoteness of the location, the photo booth rental companies were quite expensive. While helping her research possible rental options, I thought that starting quality and affordable photo booth rental business could be an interesting new venture for me.

New Germany State Park’s visitors frequently call it a “best kept secret.” This mountain gem is nestled between the 2,900 ft. Big Savage Mountain to the east and the eastern Continental Divide along Meadow Mountain to the west. New Germany has diverse forests with ten miles of multi-use trails and a small lake suitable for fishing, swimming, and paddling.

Casselman River Bridge State Park is a 4-acre parcel popular for picnicking, fly fishing, and photography.
It is on the National Register of Historic Places, built between 1813 and 1817. Penn Alps Restaurant, Cornucopia, and Little Crossings Dips are nearby, along with Spruce Forest Artisan Village, where you just might catch an artist at work carving a bird out of wood or creating pottery.
You are welcome to have your ceremony on the bridge but must be aware that you can not rent the area, and it is open to the public. Parking is limited.
