‘Powering Possibilities’ Networking Event Slated

Western SBDC, County Business Development, College are sponsors

Three organizations are joining forces to offer “Powering Possibilities,” a networking event designed for aspiring and established entrepreneurs.

The Western Small Business Development Center, Garrett County Business Development, and Garrett College are jointly sponsoring the event, which will take place on Tuesday, September 15th from 6-8 p.m. in Room 111 of the Garrett Information Enterprise Center (GIEC) at Garrett College. Dr. Kimberly Govi, Garrett College’s coordinator of professional education, said the event “offers a valuable opportunity to connect, collaborate, and explore the many resources available to support business growth in Garrett County.”

Attendees will learn about local entrepreneurial support services, including the Entrepreneur in Residence Program sponsored by TEDCO, and have the chance to meet one-on-one with experienced business consultants to discuss ideas and pathways to success.

Guests will also receive a preview of upcoming initiatives, including the Power Of Possibilities event planned for Spring 2027 and a series of entrepreneurial workforce development workshops set to launch in early 2027.
