The mission of the Property Owners’ Association of Deep Creek Lake, Inc. is to advocate on behalf of the property owners of the Deep Creek Lake area. To accomplish this we strive to promote, preserve and protect the quality of life, environment, recreational opportunities, historic sites, and historic areas on Deep Creek Lake and in its watershed, Garrett County, Maryland.

We have 18 holes of championship golf spanning 6395 yards of beautiful mountain scenery and rolling terrain. Stage WEST is the largest presenter of performing arts and arts education in Garrett County, Maryland, and serves the entire tri-state region (MD, PA, WV). The Stage WEST office is located on the campus of Garrett College in McHenry, MD.

The club manages the community park at 1249 Bumble Bee Road (next to the HART center and County solid waste disposal site).
