The Tiny Home Relief Project is a nonprofit initiative focused on delivering immediate, sustainable housing solutions for families affected by Hurricane Helene. The project, driven by Geoff Tressler and a dedicated team of volunteers, is constructing tiny homes in Garrett County, Maryland, with plans to transport them to impacted areas in North Carolina and Tennessee.
As winter approaches, the organization is working diligently to secure materials and complete construction on as many homes as possible. The first home is nearing completion and will be delivered to Yancey County, North Carolina.
Local community support has been overwhelmingly positive, and donations are crucial to keep this essential project moving forward. For updates on donation options and specific needs, please follow the Tiny Home Relief Project on Facebook.
