About the Event
The Garrett 250 Birthday Bash is a once-in-a-generation celebration honoring America’s 250th Anniversary — a milestone that invites reflection on our nation’s history, celebration of our present, and inspiration for the future. Held at the Garrett County Fairgrounds, this landmark event brings together residents, visitors, businesses, and organizations for a full day of community, connection, and patriotic festivities.
More than just a festival, the Garrett 250 Birthday Bash is part of the broader Garrett 250 initiative, a countywide effort commissioned by the Garrett County Government to commemorate this historic moment in 2026.

The Garrett 250 Birthday Bash aims to honor and celebrate 250 years of American history while highlighting the unique role that Garrett County’s people, culture, and communities have played in that story. The event brings residents, organizations, and visitors together to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and inspire pride in the county’s future.
