The summer months will zoom by, so make sure to add August 28, 2026, to your calendar for the 4th Annual Tomato Festival in Garrett County! Hosted at the Deep Creek Farmers Market in the Garrett College Parking Lot, this free event features a variety of tastings, gardening workshops, new recipes, and plenty of fun for everyone. Start growing your favorites now so you can enter the contest judging! Prizes and ribbons will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place across five fun categories: Largest Ugliest Best Tasting Cherry/Grape/Pear Paste/Plum/Roma The event kicks off at 3:00 PM, but tomato entries for the contest open at 2:00 PM.

Come celebrate the last full moon of summer with us for an unforgettable evening of relaxation, connection, and fun at the barn!  We’ll begin with a peaceful Glow Sound Bath in the Barn, where you’ll be immersed in the soothing sounds and vibrations of crystal singing bowls under the glow of blacklights and the energy of the full moon. Then, stay and celebrate as we transition into a vibrant Glow Dance & Foam Party featuring music, dancing, foam, and glowing fun!  Glow body paint will be available to use during the event. Wear white or neon colors if you’d like to glow under the blacklights!  Friday, August 28th 7:30 PM Yorkie Acres Farm | 561 Humberson Road, Friendsville, MD  Tickets: $30 per personAdvance purchase required. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, or chair for the sound bath portion of the evening and come ready to celebrate the magic of the season one last time beneath the full moon glow.  Space is limited, so reserve your spot early!
