Save the Date: Friendsville Days 2026! Friendsville Days 2026 is coming up soon, and we're excited to bring the community together for another great weekend! Join us August 14–16, 2026 for a fun-filled few days with something for everyone. This year's celebration will feature lots of great bands, plenty of food vendors, and activities for all ages, so come out, enjoy the atmosphere, and spend time with friends and neighbors. We're still accepting applications for both vendors and parade entries. Get ready for the 2026 Friendsville Days Pickleball Tournament happening Saturday, August 15, through Sunday, August 16 at Friendsville Community Park! This exciting weekend features doubles and mixed doubles brackets for all skill levels, medals for top finishers, food trucks on Saturday, and even a free kids' clinic on Friday night.

Team Bingo takes place every Sunday at 1:00 PM.

Interested in joining a book club, but not totally down with the idea of being told what to read? The Silent Book Club of Oakland, brought to you in partnership with the Friends of the Ruth Enlow Library, is definitely what the doctor ordered! Choose anything to read that appeals to you, then discuss with friends old and new! The Silent Book Club meets on the third Sunday of every month at the Green Room Lounge (119 S. Second Street, Oakland, MD 21550), from 1 - 3 pm. Join the Facebook page to view updates and comments!
