Skating into the New Year

Join Garrett County Health Department as they kick off the 2024 Winter Activity Series in Grantsville at JTF Ice Rink on January 11th, 2024, for an evening skate from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Garrett County residents can skate for free for up to five sessions throughout January and February.
This kick-off event is part of a larger initiative to reinvest in local businesses to improve access to physical activity. Designed by Argabrite and her team in 2022 with funding from a competitive grant award through CareFirst, GC In Motion has reinvested $55,341 in local businesses to help the economy and change the way Garrett County residents spend their leisure time by making physical activity more accessible.
