PRB Quarterly Meeting

At the POA members meeting on June 22, 2024, a DNR executive made a comment that it was legal to rent out a private dock on Deep Creek Lake to anyone. Past practice and our believe in the COMAR rules, this is not correct. The Policy and Review Board (which sets policy on the lake) disagrees with this DNR statement. The PRB quarterly meeting is on July 29, 2024, at the Garrett College in the PAC (Performing Arts Center) Conference Center at 6:00 PM. This topic and opinion will be discussed – if you can attend – we would like to see a good turnout in person at the meeting. This would potentially result in the addition of hundreds more boats on the lake!
The PRB, POA, and County are currently investigating this subject both from a legal standpoint and with DNR.
Please RSVP if you plan to attend the meeting in person. If needed we will move the venue to the college to accommodate a larger audience and will send an email notification.
