Garrett County Heritage Festival

Join Deep Creek Lake Lion’s Club for a celebration of the heritage of the McHenry Community Park, serving the area since 1981!

There will be series of events throughout the weekend to share all of the current (and upcoming) amenities we have at the park! A food truck(s) is planned for both days!

SATURDAY, May 18th

• Disc Golf Tournament 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM – Grand Opening of Disc Golf Course and one-day 18 hole
  tournament. Limit to 54 entries. Custom disc giveaway

• Fun Run and Walk 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM – 1 mile and 5K fun run walk. Dogs allowed. Dogs must be up to
  date on vaccines and on leash. Free goodie bag for all entrants

• Corn Hole Tournament 11:00 PM to 4:00 PM -Winner splits the entry fee pot! Free goodie bag for all entrants. Brought to you by the Kitzmiller Lion Club
  On-site registration for the cornhole tournament

SUNDAY, May 19th

• Bike Safety Rodeo 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM – includes bike safety checks and Helmet checks
• Pump Track Ribbon Cutting and Demo 1:00-1:30PM
• Family Adventure trail ride 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM – group ride on the trails
  All biking events are FREE and are brought to you by volunteers of the Garrett County Coyotes MTB Team and Deep Creek Adventure Bureau
