Deep Creek Lions Club Boat Parade 2024

The Deep Creek Lake Lions Club Boat Parade runs from McHenry Cove to The Harbor Bar at Dutches starting at 7:00 PM on Saturday, July 6th. You can “VOTE” anytime via the donation link throughout this post.
Our motley group has been entering the Deep Creek Lake Lions Club Boat parade for almost 10 years! We have won “people’s choice” – but never have taken home the BIG WIN – 1st PLACE!
The only way to win 1st Place and take home the custom boat flag is to raise the most money for the Deep Creek Lake Lions Club! (see their great deeds below)
This year we are going ALL OUT with a VACATION THEMED BOAT! All your favorites will be on our custom-decorated “family truckster” boat, Cousin Eddie, Clark, Aunt Edna and many, many more will be on the boat. Our team has been working already on the decorations to make the “Truckster Boat” as true to the movie as possible!

The Deep Creek Lake Lions Club uses the funds raised to support all their great deeds around Garrett County. Including a dog park, disc golf, hiking trails, Meshach Browning history, upcoming “pump track” PLUS they host BLIND CHILDREN every summer for a camp and every winter for skiing! (YES! Blind children can snow ski thanks to their help!)
