DCL100 Centennial Coin

As we celebrate 100 years of Deep Creek Lake, the DCL Centennial Committee is giving away a limited-edition centennial coin. Explore our Deep Creek area heritage, science and lore signs to claim yours!

The mobile exclusive passport will guide you to over 20 interpretive panels all around the area telling the story of Deep Creek Lake. To earn the coin:

1. Download your free DCLHeritage Pass

Visit https://dcl100.com/dcl100heritagepass/

Get Your Pass

This mobile exclusive passport is a collection of curated attractions, history, stories, and more!

Receive Texts

Your passport will be instantly delivered to your phone via text and email and is ready to use immediately! There is no app to download. Your pass can be saved to your phone’s home screen for easy one-tap access.

2. Check In at the Heritage Signs

We’ve placed DCLHeritage signs at key spots around the lake—look for the special logo. At each sign location, “check-in”.

Check-In

When visiting one of the signs, simply open your phone, allow location, and “check-in” on the passport.

Visit just three different signs and you’ve earned enough points to redeem your free Centennial coin.

3. Redeem Your Coin

At the Birthday Bash, swing by our booth and we will validate your pass! Don’t worry, there is a mini version of the passport for the Birthday Bash event so everyone can participate. If you can’t make it to the bash, you can redeem your points via mail.

4. Upgrade Your Swag Pack (Optional)

For those who want the full experience, our DCL100 Swag Pack is available at the Bash for just $5. It includes DCL100:

  • Patch
  • Keychain
  • Boat ID Holder
  • Magnet
  • Pin
  • Sticker
  • Centennial coin

But remember: your coin itself is free—all you need is points from three sign check-ins or by participation in the mini-pass on Saturday!

Enjoy a fun, no-cost adventure discovering Deep Creek Lake’s history and heritage. Tag us #DCL100 on your fun!
