Wisp’s Mission Affordability Program Spans Seasons and Goes Resort-Wide

Expanding on Wisp Resort’s long-standing Mission Affordable season pass program, Wisp announced a new comprehensive Mission Affordability plan which starts with price freezes or price reductions on lift ticket rates and the prices of the Mission Affordable 4-pack for the 2024-25 winter season. The resort says the new program is designed to ease the impact of the inflationary environment across the US economy that has affected both guests and the resort over the past several seasons.

The Mission Affordability program has been expanded across all seasons and almost all recreational activities including golf, the mountain adventure park, and the whitewater rafting course with offerings such as the ‘June Birdies’ golf special, Super Wednesdays at Lodestone Golf Course, Super Tuesdays and Thursdays at Fantasy Valley Golf Course, the High-5 Pass at the Mountain Park, and the whitewater rafting course atop Wisp to name a few. Wisp says it will offer compelling lodging packages at The Lodge at Wisp to combine various activities with accommodations for affordability and convenience. The list of price freezes, price reductions, and timely promotions will grow throughout the summer and fall including value-priced menu items and attractively priced restaurant specials.

Reflecting on Wisp Resort’s commitment to affordability, general manager Ron Hawkes explained, “These past few years have been difficult for everyone to navigate with inflation and increased costs hitting both the resort and our guests. Beginning this summer and through the 2024-2025 ski season, we are either freezing or reducing the prices on most of our admission products, food and beverage items, and across various activities here at the mountain. Our hope is this pause in price escalations, along with outright price reductions in some areas, gives our guests a chance to catch their breath while we wait for inflation to further abate. Our shared goal is to make visiting Wisp as accessible as possible for as many people as possible.”

Hawkes also noted, “While Wisp is in the business of staying in business, the resort acknowledges the broader economic indices like inflation. If it is hurting Wisp, it is also hurting our guests. Wisp may not be able to impact all things, but we promise to look at everything and freeze and/or reduce pricing wherever we can, and wherever the broadest impact will be. This affordability initiative is important because we believe it will allow more guests, families, and groups to fully experience the resort.”
