The Town of Oakland, MD water department will be conducting routine flow testing and fire hydrant flushing at various locations throughout the system on July 22nd and 23rd. Residents may have colored water during the testing and are advised to let the water run until it clears. If the discoloring persists, please call Oakland City Hall at 301-334-2691. The Town advises that residents check the water prior to doing laundry.
