GLAF Announces New Executive Director

GLAF Announces New Executive Director at Deep Creek Lake, MD

Exciting News, GLAF Community:

The Board of Directors is thrilled to announce Shelia McCracken as GLAF’s new Executive Director!  Shelia comes to GLAF with over 17 years of experience leading in the Garrett County community, most recently with Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations. She brings a wealth of energy, innovative ideas, and strong leadership skills to GLAF.

Already a Familiar Face:

Many of you may have met Shelia at a GLAF performance earlier this year when she served in a part-time consulting role. This smooth transition allows her to hit the ground running and dive right into her new role.

Connect with Shelia:

Shelia is eager to connect with all GLAF stakeholders, volunteers, and donors in the coming weeks but feel free to go ahead and reach out! Shelia@artsandentertainment.org

GLAF in partnership with The Performing Arts Center:

GLAF is proud to be one of five community partners supporting The Performing Arts Center (PAC), alongside Garrett College, Garrett County Public Schools, the Garrett County Arts Council, and the Garrett County Government. Under a revised agreement, Shelia will be fully dedicated to GLAF in this new role.

Please join us in welcoming Shelia!

We remain incredibly grateful for your continued support of the Garrett Lakes Arts Festival. On behalf of the Board, we look forward to seeing you in the audience this summer.
