On February 25th, GCNAACP leaders and members attended the Allegany County NAACP Branch 7007 annual Voice of Freedom Awards & Gala at the Allegany County Fairgrounds. Many tables filled with leaders and community members enjoyed an unforgettable evening of speeches, singing, music, catered food, and more.
Another component of the evening was the presentation of awards, including one to GCNAACP’s very own Haeli Gustafson (co-owner of Meadow Mountain Hemp)!
She was presented with a beautiful, handmade award as 2023 Garrett County Black Businessowner of the Year.
