Defy gravity with rocket engineering. Have you ever wondered what it takes to send a rocket to space? Gravity- the force that pulls things down to earth, can make rocket launching tricky, but not impossible. Youth will use engineering skills to build a straw rocket to launch into space to see who can reach the farthest planet. Open Interviews are being held for Dietary Assistants. Come anytime between 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM and interview with our hiring team for a position! Interviews will be held in the GRMC board room, located on the lower level of the hospital beside the cafeteria.

Check out the schedule for the 2024 Nourishing Neighbors Mobile Market & Resource Exchanges! Food will be distributed beginning at 11:00 AM on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 100 boxes. To receive a box, participants will be asked to complete a screener. Our Outreach Team, along with other Community Partners, will be joining the exchanges to provide health education and connect individuals to needed resources. This program will educate youth on the different wildlife they may see in their daily lives. Students will dive deep as they explore information about these animals’ lives. They will learn about the importance of water safety and will be instructed on how to know if a lifejacket properly fits someone. As well as educating them on how to rescue someone in a near-drowning situation by showing them how to use a throw bag!
