• Mountaintop Soccer: Guaranteed Spot Deadline

    Tonight is the final deadline to guarantee your child’s spot for the 2026 Fall Soccer Season! Registration is $50 per player and is open to boys and girls aged 4–15. Sign-ups after today will be subject to roster availability, so don’t wait! The 2026 Fall Season is scheduled to kick off with practices in mid-August, and regular-season match play will run through mid-October. Mountaintop Soccer is also actively seeking enthusiastic community members to help guide the next generation of athletes. Volunteer coach registration is open alongside player registration. The free workshops cover every essential step of the homebuying process, from selecting a realtor, identifying insurance, and navigating financing, with topics such as credit analysis, lender underwriting criteria, and much more, all designed to equip future homeowners with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed. Scheduled workshops are February 2 & 23, April 6 & 20, June 1 & 15, August 3 & 10, and October 5 & 19. All sessions begin at 1:00 PM for approximately three hours each at Community Action's Oakland offices, led by Nick Fratz-Orr of Railey Realty, Amanda Lewis of Healy Insurance Group, and April Jones of First United Bank & Trust.
