Deep Creek Pottery invites you to gather your friends, coworkers, or club and make an empty bowl to help fight hunger in Garrett County. Gather a group of at least 6 people. Cost is $10-$15 per person. Set up a time that works for your group, and bring snacks and wine if you'd like. Make a bowl using pinch, coil, or slab techniques under the guidance of a skilled potter -- or paint an already-fired bowl with help from the instructor. Your bowls will be fired, finished, and donated to the Empty Bowls Dinner this fall, which raises funds to fight food insecurity in Garrett County.
