The MCC crew will guide you through the closest cove. This program will teach you the basics of canoeing. Registration can be done at the Discover Center desk with a $10 payment. Guardians must remain present for anyone under 18.

Senior Rangers

New Germany Lake House 403 McAndrews Hill Road, Grantsville, MD, United States

New Germany State Park will host Senior Rangers, a new series of programs designed for adults ages 55+, every Thursday from May 30 through June 27. Programs will include mushroom gardening, fishing, native plant identification, birding, and foraging. The programs are free (supported by the Friends of New Germany State Park), but donations are welcome. Registration is required for each weekly program and space is limited.
