Garrett County Historical Society’s Annual Membership Dinner

The Garrett County Historical Society will be hosting their annual dinner on June 7, 2024, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. at the Pleasant Valley Community Center. Along with the guest speaker, George Cowgill, there will be a silent auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the ongoing capital improvements and museum upgrades.

Dinner reservations will be accepted until June 1, 2024 by calling 301-334-3226.

The silent auction will include GOLF packages as an added feature of the dinner, and your contribution will add to the success of this fundraiser. Would you please consider donating gift certificates and/or items for the auction?

George Cowgill’s book, Another Visit to the Mountaintop, will be available for sale that evening and is currently available at the GCHS bookstore.

HAVE YOU NOMINATED ANYONE FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS?
We are looking for 2 or 3 new board members. It is a 2-year term, nominees must be members of GCHS. We meet 4-5 times a year. This is your board, participate. Nominate yourself or another member, please ask their permission.
