The Maryland State Department of Education and the Ibis Group announced a $6.85 million, four-year partnership to boost literacy statewide. Starting July 1, the grant will fund professional development for thousands of Maryland educators and administrators, focusing on the Science of Reading.

Due to Mr. Joshua Hinebaugh’s resignation from the Garrett County Board of Education, the Board of Garrett County Commissioners will appoint a qualified replacement. Letters of Interest must be submitted by 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 7, 2024.
