As Garrett County Public School gets underway this week, this means that motorists will again be sharing the road with the school buses. If a school bus is stopped with its red lights flashing motorists meeting or overtaking the bus are required to stop at least 20 feet from the bus in either direction. The only exception is when there is a physical barrier dividing a four-lane roadway, then only vehicles following the bus are required to stop.

Featuring beautifully handcrafted works by local and regional artisans, more than 200 wines to taste from Maryland and national wineries, a lounge to watch college football games and purchase beer on tap, a cigar bar, live entertainment, food, silent auction, wine store, wine pairing dinners, lodging packages and more!
