Deep Creek Pottery is a local studio owned by Ron and Lorie Skidmore. Deep Creek Pottery specializes in wheel-thrown functional and decorative pottery with different firing ranges to include wood-firing, gas-firing, and electric-firing. Make an appointment to browse their shop for that perfect gift or set up a clay class, mosaic tile creation, and/or a paint-your-own pottery studio session. Groups are welcome!

This weekend, on November 6, Daylight Saving Time will end at 2:00 AM, meaning most Americans will set their clocks back one hour, gaining an hour of sleep but losing an hour of daylight. While most people take the “fallback” in stride, thinking that an extra hour of sleep is a good thing, the long-term effects may not be so great on our health.
