Tomorrow, Thursday, November 18, Rural Maryland Council will celebrate National Rural Health Day in Maryland. This day of awareness has been proclaimed by the National Organizations of State Office of Rural Health (NOSORH) to showcase the good work of America’s 62 million rural health care providers and to promote the efforts in addressing rural health concerns.

The seventh annual University of Maryland Agricultural and Environmental Law Conference takes place today, November 17 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, and Thursday, November 18 from 9:00 AM – 12:00. This year’s virtual format presents a flexible educational opportunity for the agricultural, environmental, and legal communities to exchange ideas about current issues related to the intersection of agricultural and environmental law.

Oakland Church of the Nazarene continues the dinner and discussion at 5:30 PM today with the teaching time being family-centered and providing discussion prompts for both adults and children. Bring something to eat you can share.
