The office of Dr. Abigail Feathers, in conjunction with Garrett Regional Medical Center (GRMC), is pleased to welcome Kambrie Bosley, PA-C, as the practice’s new Physician Assistant.

There is a rabies clinic tonight (for cats. dogs, and ferrets) at the Accident Elementary School from 5-6pm. The cost is $5.

Over the weekend, members from all five Garrett County’s law enforcement agencies held the inaugural Garrett County Fish with a Cop event at the Accident Pond.  Children were paired with police officers for the day’s event strengthening relationships between police and the community.

Join Oakland Library for a storytime designed especially for babies and toddlers. This program stimulates children’s language development and social skills through stories, music, rhymes, and other activities.

The history of railroads of Garrett County class begins this afternoon at 3:00 PM.

The Cornucopia Café and Chef Martin Galloway’s are offering a take on historic and contemporary recipes from the “Grub to Gourmet” cookbook, published by the National Road Heritage Corridor. Bonfire and picking jam session led by Snaggy Mountain Slackards beginning at 4:30 PM – bring an instrument and join in! Dinner at 5:30 PM with National Road history presentation.
