Volunteers are needed for the annual Deep Creek Lake Art & Wine Festival scheduled for Friday and Saturday, September 10th and 11th, at the Garrett County Fairgrounds in McHenry. This year the committee added Friday night premium wine tasting to the weekend.
This is the largest fundraiser of the year for HART for Animals and the Garrett Lakes Arts Festival (GLAF) and provides participants the chance to taste new wines and see unique wares of juried artists. Volunteers will be needed for set-up, Friday night and Saturday wine pouring, security, silent auction, tear-down, and staffing the front gate, wine store, and information areas. Volunteers will receive free non-tasting admission and a festival t-shirt, or have the option to purchase a tasting ticket at a discounted price.
