Back-to-School 1930s Style: New Germany Schoolhouse Experience
Celebrate Labor Day and back-to-school season on Sunday, September 7, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM by experiencing what it was like to be a student in the 1930s at New Germany State Park's newly restored one-room schoolhouse! Teacher docents will share stories, demonstrate period instructional methods, and lead vintage games. Explore the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps and the park through hands-on activities in the schoolyard.
