Join the Learning Beyond the Classroom bus this October for purposeful play, storytime, crafts, and snacks! Open to Garrett County families with children birth to age 5 not yet enrolled in formal programming, every stop includes a free new book for each child and a bag of food for each family. 📅 October Dates: October 16 & October 19–23, 2026 ⏰ Time: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM at every location Weekly Stops: Friday (October 16): Avilton Community Center Monday (October 19): Friendsville Firehall Tuesday (October 20): Grantsville Senior Center Wednesday (October 21): Kitzmiller School Building Thursday (October 22): Southern Garrett Rescue Squad Friday (October 23): Crellin Assembly of God Note: Activities are canceled if GCPS announces a school delay or closure.
