The Garrett County Health Department (GCHD) hosts the second of two Trauma-Informed Care Town Hall meetings today from 6:00 – 7:30 PM at Northern Middle School. This meeting is open to the public.

Specific to the Educational Specification project for Broad Ford Elementary, Southern Middle, and Southern High School — Grimm and Parker will be leading activities that will solicit feedback from parents and school community members throughout the evening.

Team up with the Friends of New Germany State Park and native plant enthusiasts to help remove unwanted plants from our native plant garden. As you work, you will learn how to identify common weeds and why protecting native plants is critical for wildlife.

Learning Beyond the Classroom hopes to see all of your smiling faces at Grantsville Senior Center for some fun gardening activities!

Join Kitzmiller and Accident Library for Children’s Story Time as they look, listen, sing, and play while learning through stories, crafts, and other fun activities. Also, the Oakland Library has a storytime designed especially for babies and toddlers and a Young Readers’ Book Club.

Grantsville Library has free social worker support today at 1:30 PM.
