The weather will be partly sunny with scattered showers—highs in the upper 50s and a low of 36—Southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. The chance of rain is 50%.

A consistent stretch of warmth that gripped the northeastern United States may have fooled many into thinking warmth is here to stay. However, AccuWeather forecasters say that changes in the weather pattern and the polar vortex will direct chilly air (and snow) into the region during the remainder of March and early April.

The Deep Creek Watershed Foundation is pleased to offer the 2022 Brunch and Learn Educational Sessions, which are being facilitated by the University of Maryland Extension in Garrett County. Matthew Sell, Western Region I Manager for the Freshwater Fisheries Program with the Department of Natural Resources, will be the speaker for this first Brunch and Learn Series.

We are in the spring sports season: There is Northern High Track, Northern High Tennis, Northern Varsity Baseball, Southern High Tennis, and Southern High Softball all tonight!

It’s Team Trivia Night at Mountain State Brewing Co. Trivia starts at 6:30 PM, and house prizes are awarded for first, second & third places!
