Last September 27, 2022, Deep Creek Lake Lions Club District Governor Nadja Muchow presented the Lion Spirit Award to Sandra Smith. Sandra has been actively engaged in nearly every club activity in the past year, including the Boat Auction, Pioneer Challenge (where she dressed in period costume!), the Dragon Boat Festival, and Garrett County’s 150th anniversary. She brings a great deal of enthusiasm and fun to all these events. Zone 1 Chair Leon Cardiff introduced District Governor Nadja Muchow.
