New Dates for Dock Installation at Deep Creek Lake

Maryland now allows docks to be installed in Deep Creek Lake as early as March 15, moving up the previous April 1 start date. This change gives homeowners and businesses a head start on the boating season.

However, while many are eager to get back on the water, current lake conditions are still preventing dock installations. A significant amount of ice remains on the lake, making it unsafe and impossible for crews to begin work.

Bill’s Marine Service is closely monitoring the situation and will start installing docks as soon as conditions allow. The team is prepared to proceed once the ice clears.

For questions regarding dock installation timelines, customers are encouraged to reach out. Bill’s Marine Service appreciates everyone’s patience and looks forward to the upcoming season.

DOCK INSTALLATION UPDATE

All dock installation forms have been sent out, and Bill’s Marine Service is preparing for another great season on the water. While every effort is made to accommodate requested dates, they are not guaranteed.

Business and community docks will be installed first, followed by private docks.

For Dock Storage Customers: Those who store their dock with Bill’s Marine Service already submitted their installation request on the removal and storage form last fall and will not receive a separate installation form. Any changes to scheduled dates should be directed to Audrey at Audrey@billsmarineservice.com as soon as possible.

For Non-Storage Customers: Those who do not store their dock with Bill’s Marine Service should sign and return the installation form promptly to assist with scheduling.

Bill’s Marine Service appreciates everyone’s cooperation and looks forward to getting customers back on the water soon.
