This was the heartbreaking reality that befell our furry friend, Dolly, and several other dogs, when they were abandoned last spring in the Dolly Sods Wilderness in West Virginia. At HART, Dolly has found a refuge, but she’s been patiently waiting for almost a year for a forever home of her own. While she’s seen her pack mates and countless other dogs find their happily-ever-afters, Dolly remains in her den, longing for a family to call her own.
We need your help!
Unfortunately, Dolly’s past and extended stay in the kennel have left her reactive, and apprehensive towards other animals and unfamiliar faces. This has made it incredibly challenging for her to find a loving home.
But there’s hope!! We’ve discovered a training facility that can equip Dolly with the skills she needs to find her perfect match. However, we can’t do it alone. This journey comes at a cost – a total of $2,500, to be precise.
