The Maryland Workforce Legal Services Division of the Legal Aid Bureau, Inc. will be holding office hours in the Garrett College Southern Outreach Center/Oakland Armory Building today from 8am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm. Services will be brief advice, information, counseling, and referral on issues such as child support, consumer rights, and tenant rights.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources has announced it will be issuing an additional 50 black bear hunting permits this year — a total of 800. The hunt will run from October 22nd through the 26th.
