Wisp Resort will host its annual Stage Wisp Concert Series during Summer 2024. The free 9-week concert series will showcase a wide variety of musical entertainment every Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM in July and August plus the 4th of July. Beginning at 5:00 PM, the Farm and Art Market will welcome guests to shop and mingle with local vendors and artisans who offer an array of fresh produce, gifts, and unique goods. Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, blankets, and dancing shoes. Food and drink, including seasonal brews and barbeque, will be available for sale. Should inclement weather come across the mountain, the event will be held in the McHenry Lodge. New Germany State Park will host Junior Ranger Park Pals, a free program designed for children ages 5-7, every Thursday from July 11 through August 8. Each week will feature a nature-themed program, such as identifying mammals, searching for amphibians and reptiles, fishing, growing mushrooms, and arts and crafts. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian. The programs are free (supported by the Friends of New Germany State Park), but donations are welcome. Registration is required for each weekly program and space is limited. To register, please email noah.manges@maryland.gov.
