Same trails, darker nights, bigger thrills. AJ's Adventures is hosting a Halloween Ride on the trails of the Huckleberry Rocks Area at Wolf Den Run State Park over three nights leading up to Halloween. Riders can rent one of AJ's machines or bring their own. Ride times are: • Thursday, Oct. 29, 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. • Friday, Oct. 30, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. • Saturday, Oct. 31, 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. No reservation is required, so riders can just show up, but booking ahead guarantees a time slot. There is no age limit for passengers. ATV operators must be 16 or older, and side-by-side operators must be 18 or older. The Huckleberry Rocks Area is located at 890 North Hill Road in Kitzmiller. The Town of Friendsville will conduct its Fall Leaf Pick-Up starting Monday, September 28, through Monday, November 23, 2026. Please follow these collection guidelines: Place all leaves at the edge of your property along the roadway in a pile, not a row. Ensure piles are free of sticks, branches, flowers, and other debris. Note that collection dates are weather permitting. Help keep Friendsville clean and beautiful this autumn!

Kitzmiller's annual Trick-or-Treat will be held on Friday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. Residents who are participating are asked to turn their porch lights on. Those who do not live within town limits are welcome to park at the Kitzmiller Community Center to hand out candy. Parking for trick-or-treaters is available at the Kitzmiller Post Office and in front of the Town Hall.

Spend Halloween at the Corn Maze Adventure at Cove Run Farms, a 160-acre dairy farm tucked into a cove just outside Accident. This year's maze theme honors the James Isaac House. Around the farm, visitors can also enjoy a petting zoo, duck racing, a fire ring, picnic areas and pedal tractors and trikes for the kids. The maze is open from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31.
