Please follow these collection guidelines: Place all leaves at the edge of your property along the roadway in a pile, not a row. Ensure piles are free of sticks, branches, flowers, and other debris. Play Out Loud is usually closed on Thursdays during the school year, but it's opening from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, for the Autumn Glory Firemen's Parade. The parade is expected to start around 7 p.m., so bring the kids in to play before it starts, or duck in to warm up if the evening turns cold.All week during Autumn Glory, families downtown are welcome to use Play Out Loud's nursing area and clean bathrooms, now with a donated changing table, at no charge. Just ask at the desk and take your shoes off at the door.

The 6th Annual Deep Creek Lake Autumn Glory Craft Show returns to the Wisp Ski Resort Event Center on Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Every item is handcrafted, with 75 vendor spots, and it's an indoor show, so the weather won't matter.Admission is free, and free shopping tote bags are available while supplies last.
