The festivities will take place from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM on June 22, promising a relaxed atmosphere, great food, live entertainment, and an opportunity to support ongoing efforts to preserve and protect the Deep Creek watershed. Guests will enjoy an assortment of light fare and seasonal appetizers throughout the evening. The menu features artisan cheeses and crackers, fruit compote, bruschetta with crostini, antipasto skewers (with meats, cheeses, olives, and tortellini), teriyaki meatballs, fresh crudités with roasted red pepper buttermilk dip, Asian-style spring rolls, Asian chicken skewers, and a variety of composed salads, including Waldorf and tortellini. The night will also feature entertainment by local favorite Dan Bourdeaux & Friends, bringing their laid-back energy and crowd-pleasing playlist to the lakeside setting. The Garrett Jazz Ensemble will be performing just for you on Sunday, June 28, from 6:30 PM until 9:30 PM at the Performing Arts Center. Led by pianist Dr. Sean Beachy and featuring vocalists Dave Callis and Debi Beachy, the group is made up of our very talented local musicians. This event is open to all, and admission is by donation. Come out and have a good time with your friends and neighbors. It's cabaret seating (tables & chairs), so you don't have to do anything more than tap your toes.
